FAQs

When are you open?

The Park is open during school holidays, summer weekends and bank holidays from 10am to 5pm. The opening is weather dependant as the park is all outside.


Do you allow dogs in the Park?

Yes. Dogs are welcome on the grassed areas of the park. We do ask that they are kept under control, that you clear up after them and that they do not go on to the sand itself.


What is included in entry?

Included in entry to the park is access to the lake and beach, trampolines*, wacky wagon*, bouncy castles* and land train ride**

*Suitable for ages 12 and under only

How much are additional activities?

The following activities are subject to availability. All these activities are paid for using tokens available from our Rock Shop on the beach. 1 token = £1. Tokens are non-refundable but don't expire so you can use them on your next visit.

 

  • Supertruck - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Pedalos - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Quad pods - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Pirate pods - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Pirate boat - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Haglander - 2 tokens per person per ride
  • Crazy Golf 1 token per club (£5 deposit required)
  • Swan Roundabout - 1 tokens per person per ride


How much is fishing?

Fishing is £5 per day per rod.


What fish are in the lake?

The lake is stocked with carp.


Can we Swim?

The water at Heart Park is tested regularly and is perfect for paddling! We do not allow swimming and you enter the water at your own risk. Parents must supervise children at all times.


Is Smoking allowed?

We request that you do not smoke on the beach, on any of the rides, in the poled marquee or near to any of the activities. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the fresh air. Please dispose of your cigarette butts responsible to help us maintain a clean, safe environment for everyone.


Is there a shop?

Yes, the rock shop is open when the park is, selling ice-creams, chocolate, hot and cold drinks and beach essentials such as buckets and spades!


Is there anywhere to buy food?

The Rock Shop sells chocolate, crisps and ice-cream. The Quicken Tree Restaurant based in the conference centre is also open Tuesday to Saturday 12noon - 3pm and 6pm - 9.30pm and Sundays 12noon - 5.30pm.


Can I bring a picnic?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food with you, though we ask that you either dispose of rubbish in the bins provided or take it home with you.


Can I have a BBQ in the park?

No. Unfortunately we can not allow BBQs in the park for safety reasons.


Is there a bus to the park?

No. Unfortunately there is no direct bus to the park. The nearest bus stops are in the nearby villages of Meriden and Fillongley. They are both a long and, due to a lack of public footpaths, inadvisable walk from the park.


Can I bring alcohol to the park?

We do request that no alcohol and no glass is brought into the park to protect the environment and for the safety and pleasure of all.


Camping


How much is camping?

1 night - 1 pitch for up to 4 people is £40 including one day entrance to the park

2 nights - 1 pitch for up to 4 people is £55 including two days entrance to the park

Extra nights - £15 per pitch for up to 4 people NOT including entry to the park.

Additional Adults - £5 per night + £9 entry to the park

Additional Children 5-17 years - £3 per night camping + £7 entry to the park

Additional under 5s - £3 per night camping, free entry to park.


Do I have to pay for under 5s?

Under 5s go to the park for free. However, any camping under 5s would be charged for camping as a child (£3 per night)


Do you have electrical hook up?

Yes, we have a limited number of electrical hook ups available for £5 per hook up per night.


Are there any cooking facilities?

No. There are no cooking facilities available at the park.


Is there a fresh water tap?

There are taps around the camping field that are drinking water.


What facilities are available?

There are limited facilities for campers. There is a portacabin in the camping field with 2 toilets and 1 shower.


Can I have a BBQ in the camping field?

Yes, you may have a BBQ but only in the camping field not in the park. We also request that you raise this off the ground so that no damage is done to the grass. Please note that we do not have any ash bins so you will need to arrange to take the BBQ waste with you.


Can I bring a gas stove?

Camping stoves are welcome at the park. We do request that you use them sensibly and safety, keeping them away from flammable objects including the grass.


Is there a shop?

There is a shop selling beach things e.g. ice-creams, crisps, buckets & spades, on the beach during park opening (10am to 5pm) However, there is no camping shop or supplies available. The nearest shop is the spar in Meriden which is approximately 4 miles away.
